Welcome! I am an artist, illustrator, designer and art-historian, currently living and working in the NYC metropolitan area. I am actively pursuing creative work of almost any kind, especially illustration and design, so if you see anything you like or have any questions, please contact me.
On the left is a recently completed painting I did for a 7th grade world history textbook for McDougal-Littell illustrating the black plague of 1348 in Europe. I also started working on a photo-album section to show some of the pictures I have taken during my travels. To see the first series of images, click here. |

In October and November of 2004 I did a series of drawings at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, as part of an after-hours seminar they were offering on animal drawing. It was led by Stephen Quinn, a senior member of the Exhibitions Department at the museum, who was an absolutely incredible source of information on animal anatomy and locomotion, paleontological drawing and scientific illustration. The only negative was that the classes were only 2 hours, and the lectures were so informative that I didn't actually get that much drawing time. Check out the sketchbook section of my site to see what I managed to do. | |||||||
