T-Rex from the American Museum of Natural History, New York
In October and November of 2004 I did a series of drawings at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, as part of an after-hours seminar they were offering on animal drawing. It was led by Stephen Quinn, a senior member of the Exhibitions Department at the museum, who was an absolutely incredible source of information on animal anatomy and locomotion, paleontological drawing and scientific illustration. The only negative was that the classes were only 2 hours, and the lectures were so informative that I didn't actually get that much drawing time.
